Hi everyone. I'm Jay. I'm new to Fresno, new to this tribe, hoping to make new friends and new connections.

I'm a refrigeration service technician, I do massage therapy, and real estate, and my hobbies include dog training, riding my harley, and skinny dipping.

Hope you all are well!

I've heard wife swapping is alot of fun, but I'm afraid I wouldn't fit in very well with that crowd as I don't have a wife.

I do have a beautiful little submissive that I often drag around town with me to parties and clubs and stuff. Is there much of a BDSM scene in Fresno, or do I have to go up to the bay area for that?

Yeah I tried that and found them to be not very welcoming of new comers.

Gosh, was Tawnie her typical self?

Maybe we need to start a M/s group in Fresno -- something like Madam Blake's in SF

That would be great. I think there is room in Fresno for more than one kink club. We dont all have to join TGIF.

Maybe a younger, hipper, cleaner crowd. Count me in. I am 100% behind you. Hell, I'll be co-founder.

                  Did you meet Dom Goober???

                  ROFLMAO

I know it's mean, but WTF, that guy freaked me out.

No I did not meet him.

And please don't get me wrong. I have nothing bad to say about any of them. I just found them to be too much of a clique and so I decided to not join.

I have always just driven up to the Bay and gone to their Munches and events.

The people there are much more welcoming.

Fresno is not very kink friendly, and the group is rather closed off.

I've actually had a few M/s'ers in Fresno email me regarding starting a M/s group -- however, I must confess that I know little about M/s (although I am learning and I am open to learning) I'll let them know we may be starting an open group in Fresno.

Hi Kiel. Thanks for your response. I haven't yet found a job in Fresno, I'll be moving there the first week in march and my job hunt will start promptly.

I am thinking about signing a lease on a house near Herndon/hwy 41. Need to take care of that when I arrive in town also.

I've been to the tower district twice and I really like it down there. I love to ride my motorcycle down there when the weather is nice and spend an afternoon browsing the cool shops down there.

Leave while you still can. This place will suck the life out of you before you can say "Jack Robinson".
No matter what the cost, get the hell out of here while you still can.

I just went to Fresno to visit my family...Madera realy but then Fresno too.
Leave while you can...it can suck the life out of you. I live in L.A. now and while that should be a scary place, I feel safer here then in Fresno. It takes courage to leave..but well worth it.
While I have become numb to many things, the fear of living in a place like Fresno still haunts me. I was born and raised there.
If you are not growing grapes, or doing something good for the world, get out while you can.
I speak from my life there. Find something to contribute to the world or leave...
I will drive in south central LA, the worst of LA before I will drive in Fresno now. I wish you well...If you can't leave, find a nice church and learn what you can....
till then, be afraid...be very afraid...there comes a time to face fear and my own fear is living in Fresno again...be safe

Find a nice church? To hell with that idea. I'm going to open a bar, there is way too many churches there already and not nearly enough vice ;)

church???? i thought GOD was dead?...i am off to the gay bar and hang out with my mexican transvestites...we will discuss the existential authours of post war france....

i would rather live in fresno than go to church.....

besides jesus had a son and they found his bones in jerusalem...

hey...I have no problem with gay people...
I live in LA remember? I have many gay friends. I worked on the play Hedwig for pity sake...
Please don't put 'Christian people' in a box. I am all for people being who they are. Ok, maybe church was the wrong thing to say...sorry about that. But real people accept you for who you are and care just the same.
Just saying, there is life outside of Fresno and not all people are bad and judgemental.
I lived in the Tower district. I live and work with gay people. I was just sayin'....find something to pass the time there and enhance your life somehow. It is a really odd place looking back on it....I was born and raised there. If not a church, then find some kind of support there. If you are new to it, it can be a horrid experience.
And by the way, many of my friends are transvestites....again...see the Hedwig and the Angry Inch reference....I know those people. So...no judgements...not from me....and not from you. My advice? simple, find a place to fellowship with people of like minds. If not, you fall into a hole there and it's hard to get out. There is more to life. If you really feel that way, the be the best gay transvestite you can...Be the best of who you are.
            ok...my motto?

the worst day in LA is better then the best day in Fresno....and I have seen both...
